New Gmail for Mobile is here: New features with material design

If you have already used the new Gmail on the web, you should definitely know it’s new features and material theme UI. Last year Google has introduced a new material style Gmail design with plenty of useful features for the web version. It also includes some machine learning system like smart reply etc. Now, most of these features are available in Gmail for Mobile application.

New Gmail for Mobile: New Features

The new Gmail for Mobile Android app is finally available on the Google Play Store. The app comes with some exciting new features. Such as smart compose feature, smart reply, nudge reminders to follow up older emails, a quick view of attachments, switch accounts etc.

The machine-learning driven features will help you to work thing quite easily. For instance, it will nudge you to follow-up recent emails with reminders, predefined reply templates according to your priority or importance.

The new Gmail for Mobile app also provides you to quickly view your attachments like images without opening them. You can also switch between your personal and work accounts easily just like the web version from the upper right corner.

All the read, unread, important, and spam emails with attachments will be shown in a material design with colors. By which you can easily understand which one you should keep and reply. For the spam emails, now you can directly report as spam from the email to Google.

Other Built-in Apps

The new Gmail for Mobile Android app offers you in-built calendar, G Suite, Google Docs, the to-do list for your ease of use.

Google has officially announced that in a coming few weeks, the new mobile design in Gmail for both the Android and iOS platforms, G Suite mobile apps will be improved.
