The Galaxy A40 comes in a 5.9-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution with a teardrop notch. The device features an octa-core Exynos 7885 SoC coupled with Mali-G71 GPU. It sports a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be expandable up to 512GB via a MicroSD card.

The handset runs on Android 9.0 Pie based on Samsung’s latest One UI out-of-the-box. In terms of the connectivity options, the device sports a 3.5mm audio jack, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (dual band), GPS, Glonass, Beidou, Galileo, ANT+, USB Type-C, Bluetooth 5.

The Dual-Nano SIM smartphone also features 2G/3G/4G LTE, Smart Switch for the PC version. The handset packs a 3,100 mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. All the major sensors like Accelerometer, Fingerprint, Gyro, Compass, Hall, Light, Proximity available on this device.

The Galaxy A40 smartphone sports a dual rear 16MP+5MP camera setup with F/1.7 and F/2.2 aperture lens with an LED flash. The rear cameras can record videos up to Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels @30fps. It also features AI Bokeh, PDAF, HDR, Panorama mode, etc.
