Follow the steps if you’re Apple Watch Emergency SOS going off suddenly.

  • Visit the Apple Watch application
  • Go to “My Watch”
  • Go to General > Emergency SOS
  • Disable the “Hold to Auto Call” settings

This will help you to prevent Apple Watch Emergency SOS from going off issue.

Change Apple Watch Emergency Settings

  • Open the Apple Watch settings that are linked with your iPhone
  • Tap on the “My Watch” tab
  • tap on “General” > “Emergency SOS”
  • Disable “Hold to Auto Call” settings

Note: There’s no such option exists to turn off the side button hold emergency through the settings.  The emergency call will not be executed if you change the settings mentioned above.

Even if you’ve called on an emergency number based on your country, hung up the call asap, if the operator from the other side answered the call then just explain the situation that you’ve called them accidentally so no actions will be taken further.
