HMD Global has recently launched its first-ever hole-punch front camera display smartphone named Nokia X71. This one is a mid-range budget device from Nokia with quite good specifications and features. The display comes with a 19.3:9 aspect ratio of 6.39-inch Full HD+ FullView screen. The Nokia X71 smartphone was launched in China first by HMD Global and will soon launch in other countries as well maybe with a different model number. This one is the first smartphone by Nokia ever which comes in a front camera cutout display after Honor and Samsung.
However, the bigger and brighter 6.39-inch FHD+ 1080 x 2316 pixels resolution, a 19.3:9 aspect ratio display looks stunning. The device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm 2.2GHz Snapdragon 660 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM, 64GB/128GB of onboard storage. The handset sports a fingerprint sensor at the rear side.
It features a triple rear camera setup of 48MP primary + 8MP secondary ultra-wide-angle + 5MP depth sensor with an LED flash. It supports up to 4K videos @30fps. The single 16MP selfie cum punch-hole camera features AI portrait and HDR mode.
The phone runs on Android 9.0 Pie Stock Android out-of-the-box for the Taiwanese variant. Meanwhile, it’s expected to come with an Android One platform for the global version. The Nokia X71 packed with a decent 3,500 mAh battery along with an 18W fast charging support.
In terms of the connectivity options, the phone includes a 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, 3G/4G LTE Dual-SIM, and more. It does have all the necessary sensors like proximity, gyro, ambient light, compass, etc.
