Xiaomi already confirmed the launch date of Xiaomi Mi 6X (Mi A2) smartphone in China on 25th April. The media invitations are sent to the launch event. The Xiaomi Mi 6X (Mi A2) expected to come as a mid-range budget segment device in the market as the successor of Mi A1 device. The Mi A1 smartphone was launched only for the Indian market and the rumors say that the newer version will be released soon in India as ‘Mi A2’. The Mi A1 is now out of stock but the company assured that the stocks will be available very soon.
Specifications and Features
The Xiaomi Mi 6X comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Soc along with 4GB/32GB, 6GB/64GB, and 6GB/128GB variant. The device is expected to couple with 5.99-inch full HD+ 18:9 aspect ratio display with 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass protection on the top. The display resolution will be 2160 x 1080 pixels. But the device will run on MIUI 9 with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box instead of stock Android ROM.
The Xiaomi Mi 6X (Mi A2) will be packed with 2,910 mAh non-removable battery. It also supports fast charging via USB-C port. The dual rear camera comes with a 20MP primary sensor and a 12MP secondary sensor by Sony IMX486 sensor with LED flash. The front camera also comes with a single 20MP Sony IMX376 sensor. It uses the telephoto lens for better focus and perfect portrait shots as well even in indoor conditions. It is expected to capable of taking up to 2X zoom feature for sharper noise-free shots.
The dedicated fingerprint scanner is placed at the back with round edges antenna lines. The 3.5mm audio jack is available which is a good thing in terms of music lovers. The hybrid SIM slot will be available. The internal storage can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. There will be five color variants available such as Cherry Powder, Red Flame, Sand Gold, Glacier Blue, and Black Stone. There is no confirmation about the price details and the date of Indian variant launch.
