1. Visit Settings
2. Scroll down and select Face ID & Passcode
3. Enter your respective passcode to your Face ID & Passcode 
4. Tap on the Set Up an Alternate Appearance
5. Follow the guide that helps to set up your Face ID and tap on Get Started
6. Allow the iPhone to recognize your face
7. Once done, when the first Face ID scan is completed, tap to Continue to begin the second scan
8.  Once done, you get a notification that your Face ID is now set
9. Tap on Done and return to the Face ID & Passcode settings page

Note: You can also set up an alternate Face ID, which means another person can access your iPhone. Its recommended that set the alternate Face ID of the person you trust.
