Samsung Galaxy Watch passed FCC Certification, could launch in two variants soon

A recently leaked report claimed that Samsung Galaxy Watch will launch with Samsung Galaxy Note 9 on August 9 this year. The smartwatch passed FCC Certification before the launch event of the unpacked version. The US FCC certified the SM-R810 variant which will be named as Samsung Galaxy Watch.

It has been already spotted on the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) website a few weeks earlier. The EEC website has been listed with other smartwatch variants such as SM-R810, the SM-R800, SM-R805, and SM-R815. However, the EEC listing only confirms that the Samsung Galaxy Watch will feature Bluetooth, 4G LTE, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity.

Samsung Galaxy Watch – Expected Price in India and Availability

The Samsung Gear S3 smartwatch was launched in India previous year at a price tag of Rs.28,500. So, it is expected to launch the Samsung Galaxy Watch in India with around a similar price tag. Samsung could announce the launch date of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 device launch date in India on August 9. That will be the same date for Galaxy Watch launch as well.

It is expected that the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 could be available for pre-order from August 14. However, some reports indicating that the device will launch in South Korea on August 24. So, there is a little bit of confusion between the Global launch and South Korea launch.
