A recently leaked report claimed that Samsung Galaxy Watch will launch with Samsung Galaxy Note 9 on August 9 this year. The smartwatch passed FCC Certification before the launch event of the unpacked version. The US FCC certified the SM-R810 variant which will be named as Samsung Galaxy Watch.
It has been already spotted on the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) website a few weeks earlier. The EEC website has been listed with other smartwatch variants such as SM-R810, the SM-R800, SM-R805, and SM-R815. However, the EEC listing only confirms that the Samsung Galaxy Watch will feature Bluetooth, 4G LTE, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity.

Expected Samsung Galaxy Watch Specifications and Features
After the successful market of Samsung Gear S3 smartwatch, the new upcoming Galaxy Watch will hit the market very soon with a new redesigned look and upgraded features. However, it is confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy Watch won’t run on Android Wear OS. It will run on Tizen OS platform with an Android version. It will be featured beyond the fitness tracker and heart rate monitor options. There is a rumor about that the smartwatch could come with a Bixby Assistant which will increase the user experience and ease of accessibility.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch could come with two display variants such as 1.3-inch and 1.19-inch display. Whereas the larger one could have a 48mm chassis and the smaller one could have 43.4mm chassis. The battery could be around 470mAh with almost three days of juice life on the normal usage but there is no confirmation about the wireless charging feature.
Samsung Galaxy Watch – Expected Price in India and Availability
The Samsung Gear S3 smartwatch was launched in India previous year at a price tag of Rs.28,500. So, it is expected to launch the Samsung Galaxy Watch in India with around a similar price tag. Samsung could announce the launch date of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 device launch date in India on August 9. That will be the same date for Galaxy Watch launch as well.
It is expected that the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 could be available for pre-order from August 14. However, some reports indicating that the device will launch in South Korea on August 24. So, there is a little bit of confusion between the Global launch and South Korea launch.
