The Samsung Galaxy A6+ (2018) smartphone could launch soon in India at around price tag of Rs.26,990. Recently, the device received the Wi-Fi certification as a mid-range device. It has the model number SM-A605FN/DS. Samsung is getting back in the competition in India regarding low-range and mid-range category smartphones. This time the company decided to launch another budget segment device and the leaked image seems just like Samsung Galaxy A8+ model.
Reports are saying that the Samsung Galaxy A6+ (2018) will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 Soc along with 4GB of RAM. The internal memory will be 32GB which can be expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. The Octa-core Snapdragon 450 processor clocks up to 2.0GHz based on Cortex-A53. The device will be coupled with Adreno 506 GPU for gaming and multi-tasking. It will come with a 6-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2220 x 1080 pixels coupled with 411 PPI. It will be an 18:5:9 aspect ratio display Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It will also have always on display feature.
The rear 13MP auto-focus camera will be available with a LED flash. It will have face detection, portrait shot, GEO-tagging, auto HDR, panorama mode as well. The back camera can record 1080p videos @30fps. The single 8MP front-facing camera also can capture a good amount of details.
The connectivity feature includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi direct, hotspot, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, and NFC as well. The Samsung Galaxy A6+ (2018) also supports FM Radio and USB-C 1.0 reversible connector. It will have a micro-USB port for charging and data syncing. It will have a fingerprint scanner on the back and will support all the necessary sensors such as Proximity, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Ambient light, Compass etc.
The Samsung Galaxy A6+ (2018) will come with a non-removable 3,500 mAh Li-Ion battery which can last for a whole day on a single charge as per the moderate usage. There will be three color variants available in Black, Gold, and Blue. It will have inbuilt Samsung Pay feature which will give you access to any transaction without any extra mobile app. It will also have IP68 water and dust resistance certification. It will run on Android 8.0 Oreo with latest Experience UI 9 out of the box pack.
There are a lot of other smartphones available in the market with this specifications. Definitely, many more will come to compete for the Samsung Galaxy A6+ (2018) smartphone like Xiaomi, Huawei, Meizu, Motorola etc. Motorola will launch Moto G6 on 19th April with some good specs and a decent price. If the expected price could lesser than the Rs.26,990 then maybe it will worth to buy it. Though Samsung always focused on their display and user experience. Let’s hope for the best.
