The sub-brand Realme of Oppo Electronics Corporation launched two new smartphones today in India on September 27 called Realme 2 Pro and Realme C1. The Realme 2 Pro is the actual successor of the last generation Realme 1 smartphone. Whereas, the new Realme C1 is an entry-level first-ever budget smartphone by Realme brand in India at a very competitive price tag of Rs. 6,999. The Realme 2 Pro handset price starts at Rs.13,990 for the 4GB RAM model. The device also comes with 6GB/8GB RAM variant. This time Realme 2 Pro features a dewdrop (waterdrop) notch style for the higher screen-to-body ratio.

The Realme 2 Pro smartphone comes with 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM variant with 64GB/128GB internal storage options. The device comes in three color options such as Black Sea, Ice Lake, and Blue Ocean. The 4GB model priced at Rs.13,990 and 6GB model priced at 15,990. The higher 8GB RAM variant is priced at Rs.17,990. The device will go for sale on October 11 at 12 AM-midnight via Flipkart exclusive in India.

On the other side, the Realme C1 is only available in a single 2GB RAM and 16GB storage variant. The handset will be available via Flipkart exclusive on October 11 at a price tag of Rs.6,999 only. This device will take on the Xiaomi Redmi series entry-level devices like Redmi 4A, Redmi 4, Redmi 5A, and newly launched Redmi 6A as well. While another under 10K Realme 2 device already received a huge response from the users as a nice overall budget phone.

The dual-SIM Realme 2 Pro comes with a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display (1080×2340 pixels) features a waterdrop style (dewdrop) notch, a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 90.8% screen-to-body ratio, and 409 PPI. The handset is powered by the octa-core 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE SoC coupled with Adreno 512 GPU and 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM variant. The 4GB/6GB RAM model comes with a 64GB onboard storage and the 8GB RAM model comes with a 128GB storage option. The storage can be expandable up to 256GB via a dedicated MicroSD card slot.

The Realme 2 Pro sports a dual rear camera of a primary 16MP sensor with f/1.7 aperture, Sony IMX398 sensor, 1.12µm pixel size, and the 6P lens. While the secondary 2MP camera is for depth sensing. The rear camera can record 4K videos @30fps with some pro features and AI mode. The Realme C1 has a 6.2-inch HD+ notch display with a resolution of 720×1520 pixels. The smartphone is powered by the octa-core 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. It does have a 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage variant which can be expandable up to 256GB via the dedicated MicroSD card slot. The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo over ColorOS 5.1 UI out of the box.
The new Realme C1 smartphone does have a dual rear camera set up of a 13MP+2MP sensor with a LED flash and AI features. The front-facing camera is a single 5MP sensor with AI selfie, AI Beauty 2.0, portrait, HDR, AR Stickers, and features the Face Unlock recognition as well. The device is packed with a bigger 4,230mAh battery which can easily last up to 2 days with inbuilt AI support. It does have all the connectivity options like dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm audio jack, USB 2.0 port, GPS etc. All the necessary sensors are also available in this device.
