A couple of weeks ago, Oppo sub-brand Realme officially announced to roll-out ColorOS update to all Realme devices gradually. Realme released ColorOS 5.2 OTA update for Realme 2 and Realme C1 devices firstly and then Realme 2 Pro got the same update. Now the Realme 1 also getting ColorOS 5.2 stable update officially from November 29 this year. The company announced the official update on the Twitter page.
This update improves a lot of bugs and brings system improvements. However, this update only includes the November Security Patch instead of October month. The ColorOS 5.2 stable update brings a lot of improvements such as one swipe to dismiss notifications, headset icon in the status bar, new desktop icons, and more.

In addition, the update brings a smart bar that improves multi-tasking, audio playback mode in the video player, smart scan, new lock screen UI, new boot animation, and Game Space. This optimizes the performance while gaming and activate the do-not-disturb mode. It enables press and holds the power button to activate Google Assistant shortcut.

Realme mentioned that this is a gradual roll-out process, so it will take time to receive the update to all Realme 1 devices. However, it’s expected to see the largest part of devices will get the OTA update notification on December 3rd this year. There is no information about the bugs regarding this new update.
