Oppo recently released a teaser of Oppo Find X which contains a slightly curved display notch that seems quite unusual. The device will launch on June 19 at Louvre in Paris, France. This flagship smartphone supports Android 9.0 version. The leaked images showing specification list and device front view. However, the back side view isn’t available and Oppo is willing to keep it private until the launch. Just like the Vivo NEX series smartphones, Oppo Find X edition is also very anticipated. The device launch invitation is already sent out to media partners.
Oppo Find X Specifications
The leaked specification details reveal that the Oppo Find X smartphone will come with a 6.4-inch AMOLED 2K display with the resolution of 1080 × 2340 pixels. This will be a 19.5:9 aspect ratio display with some different kind of display notch. That means the notch size or design could slightly vary than usual notch displays. It will also feature an Ultra FullView immersive screen and In-Display Fingerprint Sensor as well.
As per the specs list and TENNA listing, Oppo Find X phone will feature Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC along with Adreno 630 GPU. The SDM845 is clocked up to 2.8GHz and works 30 percent faster and energy efficient than it’s predecessor SDM835 chip. The device will come with an 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage capacity. However, it doesn’t have any MicroSD card slot expansion, it could also come in 128GB of onboard storage variant.
The device features a dual rear 20MP + 16MP camera with both f/2.0 aperture lens and a LED flash. The Oppo Find X smartphone will come with a telescope or periscope type camera inner-module which features prism type object that delivers the light through the periscope and can give up to 5X lossless zooming capability. That will give a sharp and clear view easily. The front will have a single 25MP of selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture that features LED flash, 3D facial Recognition Unlock technology through light and an infrared sensor.
The handset is packed with a 3,730mAh battery with Super VOOC Fast Charging (5V/2A – 20W) support via USB-C port. The Find X will run on Android 8.1 Oreo with ColorOS 5.1 out of the box pack. It will soon get the Android P after the official launch. The device does have the Wi-Fi 802.11ad (2.4GHz/5.1GHz/5.8GHz), GPS, A-GPS, NFC, Bluetooth, 4G Dual Nano-SIM support, In-Display Fingerprint Scanner etc. All other major sensors such as Gyro, Ambient Light, Proximity, Infrared, Fingerprint, Compass, Magnetometer, Hall sensors will be available.
The device will be available in Glacier Blue and Bordeaux Red color options. It measures 156.7 × 74.2 × 9.6mm and weighs around 186 grams.
