OnePlus 6T Could Get Triple Rear and Front Pop Up Camera With Bezel-Less Display

There is no rear-mounted fingerprint sensor available on this device.

OnePlus is now one of the most popular and most selling flagship smartphones in almost 32 countries. The Chinese mobile manufacturing company is very focused and well-driven for their smartphone launch and stock availability. The recently launched OnePlus 6 device was sold around 1 million units in only 22 days. That’s the sign of how much people love OnePlus devices. Now there is another concept design of the OnePlus 6T phone leaked by @AlbamaFadhal in the Twitter page. There is no official information about it. Still, we can expect the next OnePlus 6T or OnePlus 7 at the end of this year.

OnePlus 6T Concept Front Camera:

The new concept design of OnePlus 6T smartphone is really promising. The single front camera and all the major sensors are placed separately as a motorized pop-up module. That means OnePlus could also launch their next phone with a motorized front camera pop-up module. The module is different than what we already have seen before. It has a wider pop-up module like Oppo Find X but the design is same as Vivo NEX series.

Triple Rear Camera, Design, and Built:

The back panel is same as OnePlus 6 model which covers full glass design. The rear camera set up with LED flash all are same as before but there is a change in it. This time the device shows the triple rear camera setup. The third camera is separated from two cameras which looks poor in terms of alignment or design. For instance, the Huawei P20 Pro smartphone’s triple rear cameras are well placed and well designed. However, we can expect the primary and secondary lenses will have a monochrome and RGB sensor and the third lens will have telephoto or depth-field mode. The OnePlus branding over there with white color finishing than the black matte finish.

Display and In-Display Fingerprint Sensor:

There is no rear-mounted fingerprint sensor available on this device. So definitely the smartphone will gonna be having an In-Display Fingerprint Sensor. Now that will be a real deal as a true flagship device. Though the company didn’t include this feature in OnePlus 6 and seems they had been delayed for some reason. The designed image shows the full bezel-less screen device just like Vivo NEX series and Oppo Find X. That might be a 2K HDR display. There is no notch but expected to have a chin, which is very thin.

Connectivity and Other Features:

The OnePlus 6T will have a dedicated alert/volume slider on the left side. It is quite expected to have a dedicated Google Assistant button or mechanism for quickly accessing the feature including voice assistant. The device will feature all the necessary connectivity and sensors as well such as 4G LTE, 5G connectivity, NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11ad, GPS+, USB-C with dash charging support, wireless charging etc. The device will be water and dust resistant as well like OnePlus 6.

It will run on Android P stable version with the latest version of OxygenOS out of the pack. The device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon latest CPU and GPU coupled with 6GB/8GB of LPDDR5 RAM along with UFS3.0 internal storage capacity. These are the basic required specifications from a flagship killer phone like OnePlus. Because rumored Samsung Galaxy S10 could also come with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS3.0 onboard storage variant. Whereas, all of we know that Asus ROG Gaming Smartphone also recently launched and they have implemented overclocked performance binned Qualcomm CPU.

The reports also say that Asus wanted to launch the ROG gaming phone with 10GB RAM but there were some technical issues so they couldn’t do it. Who knows, maybe OnePlus can launch any special or limited edition OnePlus 6T or OnePlus 7 smartphone with 10GB of RAM variant. If they do it, kudos for that in advance.

As per the overall design and form factor, the concept OnePlus 6T looks quite pretty and competitive. Hope for the best. Till then stay tuned to the Gadget Headline for latest updates.
