HMD Global has introduced the new Nokia 106 (2018) feature phone in Russia. It’s the successor device of the predecessor original Nokia 106 which was launched globally in 2013. The handset comes with a tough polycarbonate built and sturdy look. The design is now more ergonomic than its predecessor. HMD Global also brings some new colors of the Nokia 230 model.

The new Nokia 106 (2018) edition feature phone comes with a 1.8-inch QQVGA TFT display at a resolution of 160×120 pixels. The handset is powered by a MediaTek MT6261D chip coupled with a 4MB of RAM and a 4MB of internal storage. It’s a dual Mini-SIM phone featuring a Micro-USB port, a 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, a LED flash etc. Meanwhile, it also features basic tools like a calculator, digital clock, calendar, speaking clock, alarm clock, and reminder.
The device comes with some preloaded try and buy games like Nitro Racing, Danger Dash, Tetris etc. While some classic games like classic Snake Xenzia also come preloaded. This new edition feature phone can also store up to 500 text messages and 2,000 contacts. The device is packed with an 800mAh battery. The company promises to provide battery juice up to 15.7 hours of talk time and almost 21 days in standby mode. It measures 111.15 x 49.5 x 14.4mm and weighs 70.2 gram.

The phone will be available in two colors such as Dark Blue and Light Grey options. The Nokia 106 (2018) feature phone is priced in Russia at RUB 1,590 ($24 approx) and will go on sale in this country later this month. However, the price and availability in other countries including India aren’t announced yet by the company.
