Asus ROG (Republic of Gamers) recently expanded their segment of pure gaming laptops by unveiling latest Intel 8th generation Core i9 processor. The new flagship gaming laptop might launch within this month and the company also mentioned about the ‘Aura Sync’ technology which helps users to customize the lighting. The new range of ROG laptop includes such as Asus ROG G703, Asus ROG Zephyrus (GX501GI), ROG Huracan (G21), Asus ROG Zephyrus M (GX501GI), ROG Strix SCAR Edition, ROG Strix Hero Edition, ROG Strix GL503 etc. laptops with ROG Strix GL12 desktop Edition.

Among all the Asus models, ROG G703 laptop comes with Intel Hexa-core 8th generation Core i9 processor. The availability is still is in process and price tag yet to release. The Asus ROG G703 laptop is the top model, features a 17.3-inch full HD IPS display with 144Hz refresh rate includes NVIDIA G-SYNC technology.

It has a premium anti-glare coating which helps to reduce reflection during low-light condition and fingerprint resistance as well. The new Coffee Lake H-generation Intel Core i9 CPU includes a single core turbo boost clocks up to 4.8GHz than the previous generation which is almost over 10%.

Technology Improvements

Intel has featured a ‘Thermal Velocity Boost’ technology that helps the processor to elevate the turbo boost. The CPU is powered by NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 GPU which supports HyperDrive Extreme Storage at speeds of up to 8700MB/Sec, which seems the fastest gaming laptop ever till date. Asus ROG Zephyrus M (GX501GI) and ROG Huracan (G21) both the models are powered by Intel 8th generation Core i7 processor with GTX 1080 graphics.

The magnetic side covers can be opened to increase the air flow to optimize CPU and GPU cooling faster. Asus also provided a 2.5-inch hot-swap bay for the SSD storage and it also features an ESS Sabre DAC audio with front audio amplifier jack.

It features NVIDIA GTX 10-series GPU. The ROG Strix SCAR Edition is powered by the latest Intel 8th generation Core i7 CPU.

The display features an FHD IPS display with 144Hz refresh rate with almost 3ms response timing and NVIDIA G-SYNC technology. The desktop style keyboard features with Asus Aura Sync, N-key rollover, fast control dedicated keys etc.

The ROG Strix Hero Edition comes for Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) gaming powered by Intel 8th gen Core i7 CPU with GTX 10-series GPU. It has 120Hz display refresh rate with wide viewing angle and 130% sRGB color gamut. The Asus ROG Strix GL12 is powered by Intel 8th gen Core i7 processor with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics.

The ROG Strix GL503 comes with a patented Anti Dust Cooling (ADC) technology with Intel i7 processor with GTX 10-series graphics. This desktop features an e-sports ready technology with hot-swap bay for 2.5-inch SSD that allows gamers to remove the drive and replace with another without any need of shutting down the system.
